About Me

AIDS Bhedbhav Virodhi Andolan
AIDS Bhedbhav Virodhi Andolan (ABVA), established in 1988, is a Delhi based non-funded, non-party organization working on the issue of fighting discrimination against those affected by HIV/AIDS and those targeted as the high risk groups – women in prostitution, professional blood donors, drug abusers and LGBT community. Members work in an honorary capacity pooling in their own resources. Weekly meetings are held in a public place. ABVA networks with other individuals and organizations based in and outside Delhi. Research, documentation, petitioning (parliament and courts), public protests and meeting those in authority form part of our work.
